SIEEJ 2025 Overview Fostering Antiracism through the Arts in PreK-12 Education

The 2025 theme, "Fostering Antiracism Through the Arts in PreK-12 Education," explored the transformative role of the arts in advancing equity and challenging racism in PreK-12 classrooms. We invited educators, researchers, practitioners, and advocates to address innovative and practical ways the arts can be leveraged to dismantle racial inequities, empower students, and promote inclusive learning environments.

Thursday evening's event, and Saturday programming was in-person in Washington, DC. Programming on Friday took place virtually. A networking reception took place after the Dr. Edmund W. Gordon Distinguished Lecture.
