Located in the heart of campus, the building represents the culmination of AU’s historic $109 million investment in student thriving. AU’s first net-zero and LEED Platinum–certified building, the Meltzer Center uses onsite renewable energy, advanced water conservation, and eco-friendly materials to produce 100 percent of its annual energy needs.
Ethan McBride, SPA/BS ’26, takes home the university’s highest undergraduate honor for his accessibility advocacy, while Taha Vahanvaty, SPA/BA ’26, is the inaugural recipient of the President’s Award for Civic Engagement.
