Clark Morris is the Director of Graduate Admissions at American University Washington College of Law. He develops and executes the strategic vision for student recruitment and admissions for AUWCL's highly ranked post-J.D. graduate programs. Additionally, he oversees the Office of Graduate Admissions and collaborates with the faculty directors of the graduate programs. Clark earned a B.B.A. in Management Information Systems from The University of Georgia and an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management. Prior to joining AUWCL in January 2020, Clark worked in a variety of admissions roles for both Thunderbird School of Global Management and 2U, Inc.

Jessica Crist

Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions

Jessica Crist is the Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions at American University Washington College of Law. She received her Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and Spanish Language from the Elliott School at the George Washington University and her Master’s degree in International Education also from the George Washington University. Before joining WCL in August 2025, Jessica worked in education for sustainable development for a non-profit under the auspices of the UN. She has also worked in international student services and graduate student recruitment for various higher education institutions. Jessica has completed extensive research focused on the intersection between migration and education and she advocates for access to quality education for all.
