Research Assistants

Chris Campbell is a third-year doctoral student in Public Policy at American University’s School of Public Affairs. He has a professional background in survey and market research for non-profit organizations, and his research interests include examining how national and local policies impact equity and housing affordability concerns in urban areas.

Kiley Yuthas is a second-year graduate student pursuing a Master of Public Policy at American University. Her research interests include gentrification, displacement, and the criminal legal system. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Child, Youth, and Family Studies from Portland State University. Her professional background includes working for nonprofits serving unhoused communities and individuals and families impacted by incarceration and detention.

Morgann Phillips is a first-year graduate student pursuing a Master of Public Policy at American University. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Howard University, and her professional background is in both the public and private sector. Morgann's research interests include urban development and social disparities.
