We’re thrilled to welcome you back for the fall 2025 semester!  

Join us for the third annual Welcome Back Campus Block Party & Taste of Home BBQ on Saturday, August 23.

• 12 – 2 p.m.  – Taste of Home at Lydecker Tunnel
• 5 – 7 p.m.  – The SUBSet Block Party on The Quad 

Hosted in partnership with the Residence Hall Association (RHA), AU Kitchen, and Student Affairs, this event marks the perfect kickoff to the new semester, as we celebrate the shift from summer to fall and the return of our AU Eagles, both new and continuing. All summer long, we’ve been making improvements to create an even better home for our campus community, and now it’s time to come together, reconnect, and make AU feel like home. Get ready for an afternoon packed with food, activities, and giveaways: 

• BBQ favorites from AU Kitchen 
• Sweet treats from Captain Cookie and the Milk Man 
• Games, a DJ, and photo-ops with Clawed 
• Giveaways & prizes from Chartwells, Pepsi, and Follett in front of the Tunnel’s retail spots
