Dear AU Community: 

During the month of June, Washington DC will host several major events which will impact travel in the city. World Pride celebrations begin tomorrow, with the largest events including the Pride Parade and concerts taking place until June 8. Additionally, the United States Army 250th anniversary parade is scheduled for Saturday, June 14. 

While these events are expected to cause significant road closures, most will occur on weekends and are likely not to impact weekday campus operations. Members of our community who plan to travel through affected areas should allow for extra time and register for AlertDC for up-to-date information on route changes.
