You are here: American University Finance Communications Get Fresh Local Produce This Fall with Airlie's CSA Program

Communication August 11, 2025

Dear AU Community,

As the new semester begins, we’re excited to invite you to join the Airlie Berkshire Farm Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) Program – a fresh way to support sustainable farming and enjoy seasonal, locally grown produce.

We’re offering a special Fall Semester CSA Share that runs from September 10 to November 10. Weekly shares will be conveniently delivered to American University during the Wednesday Farmer’s Market on the Quad

What’s in your share? Each week, you’ll receive a generous box of seasonal fruits, vegetables, and herbs – think leafy greens, root vegetables, squash, apples, and fall favorites like pumpkins, sweet potatoes, and kale. You might even find a few surprises!

Why join the CSA? By subscribing, you’re not only getting fresh, high-quality produce – you’re also directly supporting the Airlie Berkshire Farm and its commitment to sustainable, community-based agriculture. As an added bonus, if we reach our goal of 50 subscribers, the farm will donate two shares to the Market, AU’s Food Pantry.

Special Early Harvest Pricing: Now through August 15, take advantage of our early bird price of $359 – a $20 savings off the regular $379 rate.

👉 Sign up now to secure your spot: Airlie Berkshire Farm CSA Membership | Airlie.
