David Wolitz is Visiting Professor of Law at American University Washington College of Law and Professor of Law at the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law.
Professor Wolitz's scholarly and teaching expertise covers a broad range of subjects including Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure, Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, Federal Courts, and Mass Communications Law.
Before turning to academia, Professor Wolitz practiced civil litigation and criminal defense in private practice and subsequently worked as an attorney-adviser at the U.S. Department of Commerce.
He holds a J.D. from Yale Law School and a B.A. in Philosophy from Stanford University.
