South Asian Law Students Association

The South Asian Law Students Association (SALSA) provides a social, academic, and career network for law students of South Asian heritage and encourages participation South Asian-Asian American legal community. SALSA's goal is to provide our members with the resources and opportunities to navigate the law school experience and set up a successful legal career. To also help advance the visibility of the South Asian community and promote the discussion of various issues affecting the community, SALSA sponsors various events at WCL surrounding cultural celebrations, panels, and a mentoring program for first-year students.

Participation in our organization and its AUWCL events is open to all members of the AU community, regardless of background. Our events, programs, and activities are inclusive and do not restrict participation based on personal identity or characteristics, including but not limited to race, color, national origin (or shared ancestry), religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status.
