The International Trade and Investment Law Society (ITILS) is one of the most active student organizations on campus with a strong relationship with its alumni network, which gives students the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the areas of international trade, investment law, and international arbitration.
The goals of ITILS are to educate the WCL community on issues regarding those particular practice areas; build and foster relationships between practitioners, alumni, and WCL students; and provide as much assistance to WCL students to succeed in the international law field. In addition, ITILS sponsors students to participate in independent team competitions dealing with WTO disputes and investment arbitration matters.
Participation in our organization and its AUWCL events is open to all members of the AU community, regardless of background. Our events, programs, and activities are inclusive and do not restrict participation based on personal identity or characteristics, including but not limited to race, color, national origin (or shared ancestry), religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status.
