Fashion and Art Law Society
The Fashion & Art Law Society (“FALS”) is dedicated to fostering a community of law students interested in fashion and art law. Our organization focuses on exploring the many facets of the fashion and art industries and connecting students to professional creatives and attorneys. It is the goal of FALS to both acquaint students with relevant aspects of the law as well as to develop an understanding of the history and contemporary practices within the fashion and art industries. Our activities include panel discussions with professionals in these industries and off-campus immersive events such as trips to gallery openings. Whether you’re wanting to practice law in the fashion or art industries, or are just a lover of the arts, FALS provides a space to connect with peers of similar interests and gain greater exposure to these areas.
Participation in our organization and its AUWCL events is open to all members of the AU community, regardless of background. Our events, programs, and activities are inclusive and do not restrict participation based on personal identity or characteristics, including but not limited to race, color, national origin (or shared ancestry), religion, sex, age, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status.
