
Joseph Atchulo
Recruitment Programs Manager
Joseph Atchulo serves as the Recruitment Programs Manager in the Office of Career & Professional Development. Before joining OCPD, he worked as the Program Coordinator for the Community Service-Learning Program (CSLP) at American University’s Center for Leadership and Community Engagement (CLCE). In this role, Joseph managed partnerships with local nonprofits, developed service-learning opportunities for students, and coordinated Community-Based projects that connected academic learning with civic engagement.
He also co-founded Sight for the Rural Child, a nonprofit dedicated to providing free eye screenings for children in underserved communities in Ghana.
With a wealth of experience in program development, strategic partnerships, and community engagement, Joseph is committed to driving impactful initiatives.
He holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Nonprofit Management from American University in Washington, D.C., and an MSc in Economics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana.
