- Bio
- I hold a Ph.D. in Political Science from Central European University. Since 2019, I have been teaching in the Department of Justice, Law, and Criminology at American University in Washington, D.C., where I offer courses on Law and Society, Justice, Morality, Political Violence, and Transitional Justice. I currently serve as Chair of the Socio-Historical Inquiry Committee at American University. Additionally, I have taught graduate courses on Transitional Justice at Georgetown University and Central European University. Before returning to academia, I spent a decade working in democratization and peacebuilding in transitional contexts. My research focuses on political reconciliation, with particular attention to anti-corruption efforts, transitional justice mechanisms, and atrocity prevention. I recently completed a book manuscript titled "Transitional Justice and Bystanders: A Critical Approach to Moral Responsibility."
