- Bio
- Dr. James Burrell is an accomplished leader with distinguished service as a senior federal government executive, corporate c-level executive, and academic and research professional. He has served as a senior U.S. intelligence agency executive, chief technology officer and chief security strategist for venture capital funded entrepreneurial enterprises, and tenured full professor and research fellow for engineering, technology, and policy programs at public and private universities. He has extensive experience in international and national policy as a U.S. government delegate to international intergovernmental organizations and as a senior representative to federal government interagency policy committees on national security, technology, and terrorism. He maintains advisory and board affiliations with governmental, non-governmental, and private organizations to include the National Academy of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (NASEM).
