- Maria Morukian (she/her) is a recognized organizational development practitioner specializing in diversity, equity, inclusion, and intercultural competence. As CEO of MSM Global Consulting and a faculty member at American University’s School of International Service, for over twenty years Maria has supported leaders and organizations around the world to build practices for better communication, foster competent and respectful workplaces, and navigate conflict for meaningful culture change. Maria is a sought-after speaker and has presented at numerous events, including TEDx, Forum on Workplace Inclusion, Association for Talent Development, and Ellevate Women’s Network. Her work has been published in Forbes and TD Magazine. She has authored and coauthored several books, including Diversity, Equity & Inclusion for Trainers: Fostering DEI in the Workplace, ATD’s Handbook for Training and Talent Development, and Building an Organizational Coaching Culture. Maria is host of the popular podcast Culture Stew. Maria earned a dual Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Michigan in Organizational Studies and Spanish, and a Master’s Degree from American University in International Communication.
