Graduate Scholarship for Maryland Veterans and Military Families

Graduate Military students.

At American University, we're extremely proud of our Veteran and Military affiliated students and value their unique perspectives, intellectual diversity, and experience. The Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs believes veterans and active service members are more likely to thrive in the state when their families are healthy and resilient. The Maryland Joins Forces initiative is designed to mobilize partners across sectors - including education - to meaningfully address issues affecting veteran and military families. Through this initiative, prospective graduate students who are military-connected, or are the spouse or dependent of a military-connected service member, are eligible to be considered for this new Graduate Scholarship for Maryland Veterans and Military Families.
