Bio
Corbin is a public management scholar who is passionate about the effectiveness and accountability of the public services delivered by nonprofit organizations. His work explores the complex dynamics between nonprofits, funders, governments, and the people they serve.

Corbin has a particular interest in how nonprofit financial managers navigate external pressures and uncertainty, and the extent to which those choices affect both fiscal health and organizational performance. Corbin also investigates relationships between public perceptions of nonprofit characteristics—such as performance and religiosity—and our ability to provide effective, efficient, and equitable public services.
