Bio: Gene has worked at AU since March 2010. He is currently the Director of AU Central, where he oversees the administration of the health insurance waiver; Veterans Services; first time non-degree registration; tuition refund insurance and the frontline services of student accounts and the Registrar. In addition, he has been an adjunct instructor in the School of Education since 2018, where he teaches AUx1 and AUx2 (CORE 100 and 200) Gene has previously worked in financial aid at the University of Maryland College Park, and at Sallie Mae, where he worked with schools and students on loan repayment and financial literacy
Gene is an AU alumnus, having earned his Master's in Education in higher education administration.
