Bio
Kathleen is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a passion for women’s health and a holistic approach to primary care. Prior to joining American University, Kathleen served as a nurse practitioner with the United States Army and as the Sexual Assault Medical Director for her duty station. She also worked as a registered nurse in Women’s Health Services at New York University and in several NYC hospitals. Her doctoral project explored climate-focused social innovation to address health inequities in our nation. Kathleen lives in Virginia with her family and enjoys running, yoga and cuisines from around the world.
