Bio
Alexis (he/him/his/el) was born in Mexico and proudly calls San Diego his hometown (west coast, best coast). He joined the AU community in Fall 2022 after serving as a Student Programs Coordinator at the University of South Florida, where he worked with the Campus Activities Board. As Associate Director for Student Programs and Signature Events, Alexis supports the programming boards under the Student Activity Council, including the Kennedy Political Union, Spirit & Traditions Board, Student Union Board, and Students for Change, as well as All-American Welcome and late-night and weekend programming. He is passionate about student life and creating a home away from home for AU students. Outside of work, Alexis enjoys exploring museums and galleries, hunting for the best Mexican street tacos, and keeping up with the Real Housewives franchise.
