Bio: Dr. Mousavi completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Informatics Institute at the University of Florida. Prior to this, he held a postdoctoral position at the Institute for Mathematics and its Applications at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. He earned his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, in 2019. His research interests include machine learning, sparse optimization, and portfolio optimization.
